SOUTH CAROLINA — South Carolina businesses must collect a five-cent tax on Nicotine vapor products.

Businesses have to collect five-cents for every milliliter of liquid in vapes or e-cigarettes.

The filing and tax payment must be made by the first business that buys or sells the product. So that could be the wholesaler, retailer, distributor, or manufacturer.
