CHARLOTTE — NBA superstar and Charlotte native Stephen Curry’s upcoming bourbon-centric concept in Uptown has secured a nearly $1.2 million renovation permit.
Mecklenburg County has issued a commercial alterations permit for The Eighth Rule, which will be on the 15th floor at The Ritz-Carlton, Charlotte. It will take the space formerly occupied by The Punch Room.
Curry has teamed up with San Francisco-based The Mina Group on that venture, which will feature an evolving menu of craft cocktails and rare pours. It is slated to open in early 2027.
A spokesperson declined to share additional information at this time.
