AT&T workers across the Southeast could walk off the job this weekend.
The Communications Workers of America represents 28,000 workers in nine southeastern states including North and South Carolina.
Its contract with AT&T expires Saturday night.
Workers just voted to authorize union leaders to call for a strike if they don't reach what they believe is a fair contract by then.
