CONCORD, N.C. — Police were working to identify the people who broke through the roof of a business to steal guns earlier this week in Concord.
The burglary happened Tuesday night at Ideal Sportsman on highway 601.
According to the police report, officers responded when the store's alarm went off, but did not say if the thieves made off with any weapons.
Channel 9 has reported a number of gun shop burglaries and attempted break-ins across the Charlotte area this year, including last month when a truck slammed into a gun shop in south Charlotte.
Police said more than 420 guns have been stolen this year.
