Town of Dallas warns about cloudy water

The town of Dallas says its water system did not meet treatment requirements because it was too cloudy.

That means there is an increased chance the water could contain disease-causing organisms. Tests came back negative, but officials say people with low immune systems, infants and some elderly may be at risk of nausea or cramps. If you experience those symptoms, you may want to seek medical advice.

Town officials say the cloudiness because of a value failure at the water treatment plant. It flushed the cloudy water from the tank and repaired the value. The water should be fine now.
