CATAWBA COUNTY, N.C. — A road in Catawba County remained closed most of Sunday afternoon after a tractor-trailer flipped shortly after noon Sunday.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg police said the truck driver flipped his big rig while speeding around a bend at the Interstate 40 and Highway 321 interchange.
The tractor-trailer hit a car, according to officials.
Officials said the driver of the car is fine and there was minor damage to the car.
The truck driver was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
