TSA offers incentive to fill open positions at Charlotte Douglas ahead of spring travel

CHARLOTTE — A new incentive is being offered to TSA employees in an effort to fill the gap of open positions.

A new round of TSA officers are training to become the next front line of defense in air travel.

TSA’s openings need to be filled as soon as possible now that March is here, because spring break is right around the corner.

“We are on pace to probably be at 80% plus recovery prior to the pandemic, so we are gearing up and getting ready for that passenger volume,” said TSA’s Assistant Federal Security Director of Mission Support Joe Padilla.
