Two men arrested in Lancaster County drug bust

LANCASTER COUNTY, S.C. — Lancaster County officials arrested two men in a drug bust Thursday that led to the discovery of marijuana, ecstasy and cocaine, Channel 9 news partners at the Rock Hill Herald reported.

Officers also found the drug commonly known as MDMA or Molly, ammunition and $1,500 in cash during the bust on North Market Street, the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office said.

Officers charged Demario Buchanon, 33, and Antonius Thompson, 33, in the case.

A woman and two children were in the home at the time of the bust. Officers did not charge the woman and took the children out of the home to wait on their school bus.

Demario Buchanon’s charges:

  • Trafficking cocaine between 28 and 100 grams
  • Trafficking cocaine within proximity of a school
  • Possession with intent to distribute MDMA
  • Possession with intent to distribute MDMA within proximity of a school
  • Outstanding warrant for: Distribution of cocaine, distribution of cocaine within proximity of a school

Antonius Thompson's charges:

  • Possession with intent to distribute marijuana
