CHARLOTTE — The University of North Carolina at Charlotte surpassed its previous enrollment record, marking the third consecutive year of record-breaking numbers at the college.
The university has just over 33,000 students for fall 2026 semester. That’s nearly 1,000 more than last year.
UNC Charlotte says both its first-year class and transfer class are at record highs.
The school believes its online learning options are drawing more working adults.
