UNCC hopes testing plan helps prevent COVID-19 clusters

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Students are officially done with their first week of classes at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. On Friday, the school told Channel 9 that they have measures in place to process up to 1,000 tests per week.

In the latest White House report for North Carolina, they recommend that colleges have a plan in place for periodic retesting of students, with quick turnaround times for results.

“I do want to have college experience, but I won’t put my health above anyone else’s health," said freshman Ashley Dickenson.
