GREENSBORO, N.C. — Police are investigating multiple fights caught on camera Friday during a student event on the University of North Carolina Greensboro campus.
The fights happened just before 10 p.m. at an event at the Coleman Gym.
The university said there were two aggravated assaults, one happening inside the gym and the other in the parking lot.
Many said a video of the fights posted to social media only showed part of what happened and that a student was knocked out.
It's not clear yet what caused the fight, but police had to close down four streets to control the crowd.
University officials said they didn't go on a lockdown because the situation was contained.
They're now trying to identify the suspects involved.
