CHARLOTTE — Channel 9 was contacted by several viewers after a fight broke out in Northlake Mall Saturday night.
Video posted on Facebook shows a fight broke out in in the mall’s lower level close to Dillard’s.
Reporter Scott Wickersham reached out to the mall and received this statement:
"Thanks for reaching out about the phone video. This shows an isolated incident, which was handled appropriately by our security team."
According to Northlake Mall, anyone under 17 years of age must be accompanied by an adult 21 years or older after 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
This rule applies only to the mall, not the AMC movie theatre.
