CHARLOTTE — Schools in Charlotte will have some financial help as they begin to prepare to bring students back from summer break.

Walmart announced last week that through September 4, they will team up with customers to give $1 million to schools through their Spark Good Program.

Consumers can make donations online.

All Spark Good Round Up donations will be matched 2:1 by the retailer when a customer chooses their specific school.

Walmart’s Spark Good Registry and Round Up aims to provide a convenient, personalized way for schools to save money and get the funds and supplies they need for a successful back-to-school season.
