WATCH: Tornado touches down on shoreline in Myrtle Beach

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. — Videos have been circulating on social media of a tornado that touched down on the shoreline in Myrtle Beach.

The National Weather Service confirmed an EF-0 tornado touched down at about 3:30 p.m. Friday, WPDE reported.

According to a storm survey, the tornado reached 75 mph. Witnesses said it was on the ground for about one minute.

The tornado stayed on the dune and beach line between 74th and 73rd Ave. North, according to a storm survey.

No injuries were reported.
