ALEXANDER COUNTY, N.C. — A woman in Alexander County died in a fire early Thursday morning south of Taylorsville.

The blaze broke out on H and H Lane in the Bethlehem community.
Sheriff’s investigators said a woman in her 60s who lived at the home died in the fire.
Investigators are still trying to determine a cause but don’t see anything suspicious at this point.
