Women reassigned at camp after murder convictions revealed

Two women running a summer camp for kids have been reassigned after their murder convictions came to light.

Deidra Gary was convicted of killing her husband, former Panthers player Fred Lane, in 2000.

Doris Bullock was convicted of killing her baby in 1981.

Both worked at a summer camp at Raleigh's St. Augustine's University. Parents are furious they weren't told about the women's convictions.

"I believe that everyone deserves a second chance, but there are some things you shouldn't be allowed to do because of things you've done before. I'm sorry," said one parent.

Gary had been running the camp for a dozen years. Bullock for one year.

St. Augustine's president sent out a statement Friday stating, "While I remain confident in their ability, I have decided to reassign both employees to their administrative roles at the university."
