York Co. officers spend hours cleaning up meth lab

YORK COUNTY, S.C. — Narcotics officers in York County worked for hours to clean up a dangerous meth lab Monday.

Paul Jordan and Adora Hughey were arrested for allegedly making meth in a house on Black Highway in Smyrna, which is about 10 miles west of York.

Deputies uncovered the lab just after midnight Monday.

Emergency crews worked all morning to clean it up.
