CHARLOTTE — From concerts and festivals to cheering on the home team, here’s what’s happening in Charlotte this weekend.

Have a ball with the Charlotte Knights as they take on Memphis at Truist Field this weekend. There will be fireworks following the games on Friday and Saturday, and kids can run the bases after the game on Sunday.

Watch colorful vessels compete on Saturday at the Rowan Chamber’s 9th annual Dragon Boat Festival at The Shrine Club on High Rock Lake.

Have a good time for a good cause at Rig Fest for Cool Kids at D9 Brewing Lake Norman on Sunday. There will be bands, food trucks and a vendor village.

Charlotte Black Pride Week wraps up this weekend. There’s the Summer Renaissance Mini Ball, a festival celebrating LGBTQ-plus people of color in visual and performing arts, and family reunion event at Veterans Park.
