CLEVELAND COUNTY, N.C. — A Shelby man was arrested for the third time in three days on Friday.
Deputies said Shannon Murray, 35, was arrested and sent to the Cleveland County Detention Center Friday after being suspected of breaking into a home and stealing property. He is accused of stealing electronics and a nine-price drum set estimated to be worth $3,000.
He was charged with larceny after breaking and entering and possession of stolen goods.
Deputies believe his is connected with a break-in that happened on April 22 in Patterson Springs.
Earlier that week, Murray was arrested for breaking into a home in the Light Oak Community on Wednesday. He was charged with felony larceny and larceny after breaking and entering.
Deputies said he stole jewelry, tools and a gun with a combined value of more than $3,000 of stolen property. He was later released on a $10,000 secured bond.
After his release, he was arrested again on Thursday after police said they caught him with a stolen gun. He was charged with larceny of a fire arm.
