PetSmart latest to add mask requirements for shoppers during coronavirus pandemic

Pet store PetSmart is the latest retailer to require shoppers to wear masks at all locations.

PetSmart announced shoppers who do not have a mask can ask an employee for one. Company officials are also asking customers to keep 6 feet away from others and to not come to the store if they have any COVID-19 symptoms or are not feeling well.

The company is also continuing curbside pickup if customers want to limit contact.

PetSmart joins the growing list of retailers that are requiring masks to be worn by shoppers in stores.

Walmart, Sam’s Club and other stores like Kohl’s and CVS are requiring shoppers to start wearing masks at all locations effective July 20.

Best Buy has the same regulations which were in effect since July 15.

Kroger will require masks starting July 22, CBS News reported.

Costco instituted the mask rule in early May.
