According to a police report obtained by KNWA, John R. Tyson was found asleep in a woman’s bed at her home in Fayetteville just after 2 a.m. Sunday. The woman called police when she found Tyson, whom she did not know.

The woman told police she came home and found a man asleep in the back bedroom of her first floor, with his clothing on the floor near the bed, KHBS reported. Police woke Tyson up, but he did not respond and attempted to go back to sleep.

The woman told dispatchers the front door may have been unlocked, KHBS reported.

In the police report, officers said that they identified Tyson using his driver’s license and that his breath smelled like alcohol, KNWA reported.

Tyson was charged with public intoxication and criminal trespass and was released from jail on a $415 bond, according to online jail records.

Tyson was named chief financial officer for Tyson Foods on Oct. 2, Bloomberg reported. He is a fourth-generation of the company’s namesake family. His father, John H. Tyson, serves as chairman of the board.

In a statement to CNBC, a representative for Tyson Foods said that the company was aware of the incident but would not be offering a comment, calling it a “personal matter.”
