MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. — Residents in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina are on alert for a highly venomous viper.
A Gaboon Viper is believed to be in the area of the Harbor Pointe Apartments.
The Gaboon Viper is one of the most venomous snakes in the world.
While no one has actually seen the snake, neighbors found its skin nearby.
Experts estimate the size of the snake to be around 3-4 feet long.
