With summer winding down, many of us are trying to get back into a routine, which could include a daily workout.
A recent study from the “British Journal of Sports Medicine” found that just 11 minutes of moderate to vigorous aerobic activity each day could lower your risk of cancer, cardiovascular disease, or premature death.
“There’s a lot of talk about obesity, smoking, diabetes and hypertension as being risk factors for morbidity, and we have found through numerous evidence that in fact, amongst all of that, a sedentary lifestyle might be the biggest factor for mortality than anything else,” said Dr. Payton Fennell with Novant Health Orthopedics & Sports Medicine.
