  • Some spots could feel close to 100 degrees, and the heat may trigger an isolated shower or thunderstorm Friday. However, widespread high school football games are not expected to be impacted.
  • Saturday brings a better chance for rain, with scattered thunderstorms developing during the afternoon.
  • Sunday is trending drier, with quieter weather expected for the Panthers’ home opener.
