GASTON COUNTY, N.C. — Police in Gaston County are investigating a shooting Thursday morning, officials said.
It happened at a house in the 2600 block of Forbes Road, near Highway 321. Officials said the call came in around 8:40 a.m.
At the scene, Channel 9’s Ken Lemon saw Gastonia Fire as well as multiple Gaston County police officers working around crime scene tape.

The Gaston County Police Department is asking residents to avoid the area for the duration of the investigation.
