FORECAST: Plenty of sunshine with temperatures reaching nearly 50 degrees

FORECAST:

It’s a quiet weekend with chilly mornings and milder afternoons.
High temperatures today are climbing into the upper 40s to near 50 degrees with wall-to-wall sunshine.
We’re cold again tomorrow morning with mid to upper 20s on tap. Highs on Sunday afternoon are in the low 50s!
Some extra clouds build through the day with a few flurries in the mountains late in the day.
There’s an isolated rain chance early Monday, mostly south of Charlotte.
That clears by the afternoon with continued warming through midweek.
Highs are expected to reach nearly 60 degrees on Wednesday.
