NC’s biggest food festival, Taste of Charlotte, rescheduled for fall

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — This year, you’ll have to wait a few months longer to get a taste of Charlotte’s culinary scene.

The annual three-day Taste of Charlotte festival that was scheduled for early June in uptown will now be held Sept. 18-20.

The event will still feature more than 100 samples from area restaurants, family entertainment, live music, activities for kids and vendors.

Festival organizers said they are working closely with the city, the health department and Charlotte Center City Partners to ensure that the event is safe for its attendees and vendors.

The event will be held on Tryon Street in uptown from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Sept. 18-19 and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sept. 20.

Admission is free.
