WATCH: How Mac Tabby Cat Cafe is making a difference

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — It's a safe haven for homeless animals and caffeine addicts.

Mac Tabby Cat Café, Charlotte's first cat cafe, is open in the historic North Davidson Arts District (NoDa) and has already helped to save the lives of many felines in danger of being euthanized.

We sat down with the cafe's owner, Lori Konawalik, to find out how she came up with the concept and how it’s changing lives, one meow at a time.
