• 80-foot Ferris wheel returns to uptown

We're used to seeing high-rise buildings in uptown Charlotte but this week you'll see a high ride of sorts. Eye on Tryon, an 80-foot Ferris wheel, will treat riders to a unique view of the uptown skyline.

The Ferris wheel will be set up at Victoria Yards, which is on the corner of 7th and Tryon streets.

Rides will be offered from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. Wednesday through Friday and noon to 10 p.m. on Saturdays, Nov. 6-16. After 8 p.m., only adults 21 and older will be admitted.

Tickets cost $8 for adults and $6 for children.
