GASTONIA, N.C.,None — Gastonia police are looking for two men accused of robbing people they met through ads on Craigslist.
Police said Anthony Jefferies and Starion Lowery would post items on Craigslist and give interested buyers an address to an abandoned home.
That is when, police said, they would hold the victims at gunpoint and rob them.
"If you are going to meet somebody, try to do it in a public place and just be safe about it," said Gastonia police Officer Jimmy Arndt.
Investigators said they have heard of two similar cases in the past week.
