American Shingle CEO Arrested In Georgia

BIBB COUNTY, Ga.,None — The head of a roofing company with hundreds of complaints against it was taken into police custody Tuesday.

Georgia police arrested Carlton Dunko, the CEO of American Shingle Roofing. According to the Bibb County Sheriff's Office, Dunko was released on $64,800 bond.

Dunko's company took money from 30 homeowners but never performed the work, police said. The Better Business Bureau said 300 people in the Carolinas were victims of American Shingle.

Many of the victims in the Charlotte area complained to Action 9 last year.
