None — A young military officer will wed the girl of his dreams in a gazebo amidst the exquisite gardens of the Southern Spring Home & Garden Show, surrounded by spectacular landscaping, flowers and exotic plants, on Friday evening, March 2nd at 8:00 p.m.
Lieutenant Stephen Johnson, a ten-year U.S. National Guardsman, having been deployed to Kosovo and now back in the United States, and Jessica Gudgel, a children’s hospital nurse from Columbia, SC will say their vows before ordained minister, Rev. Jim Lytle and a host of close family and friends who will be present for the touching and beautifully intimate ceremony. Members of the Charlotte Flute Choir will provide a rhapsody of background music.
In addition to the joy of being married amid the gorgeous gardens, the bride and groom will be presented with gifts that include a $1,000 gift certificate from Ashley Furniture HomeStore.
