VALDESE, N.C.,None — The Valdese Police Department is looking for a man they say robbed the local BB&T bank on Main Street around 1:49 p.m. Thursday.
Surveillance video shows that the suspect is a white man, approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall, with salt and pepper hair, glasses and clean shaven.
The suspect was wearing a light blue, long-sleeve shirt with light colored khakis.
Valdese Police Chief Jack Moss said the suspect left the Valdese area in a burgundy Acura MDX, a sport utility vehicle. His direction of travel is unknown.
The chief would not disclose how much money, if any, the suspect got away with.
He said no weapon was used and no one was injured.
