Deadly shooting in Lancaster leaves Sheriff seeking help

LANCASTER, S.C. — A shooting in Lancaster, S.C. left two men dead Friday night.

Deputies found Jonathan Duvall Reid on the ground in front of The Café nightclub, located on Old Landsford Rd. Reid had been shot and was in critical condition. He was taken to the hospital and later pronounced dead.

Azor Lee Cloud was about 50 yards away from Reid at the club, and was pronounced dead on the scene from an apparent gunshot wound.

Reid was recently released from the Lancaster County Detention Center in early March. He was out on a $50,000 surety bond and 24/7 house arrest, but was not ordered to have GPS monitoring.

"We have started a detailed investigation and no stone will go unturned until we find out who is responsible for these deaths," said Sheriff Faile. "It's frustrating when there were so many people there and no one is willing to come forward with information."

The Lancaster County Sheriff's Office is asking anyone with information on the identity or location of those responsible for this or any crimes in the Lancaster area to call the Lancaster County Sheriff's Office at 283-4136 or contact Crimestoppers at 1-888-Crime SC (1-888-274-6372) or you can e-mail or text your anonymous tip to: www.midlandscrimestoppers.com
