CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A cold front rolled into the area Tuesday that brought a batch of clouds as temperatures got into the 80s. Lows Tuesday night will be in the mid-50s accompanied by dry conditions.
There will be plenty of sunshine Wednesday and Thursday with temperatures in the 70s and up to about 80 degrees.

Humidity and the chance of afternoon showers will gradually return this weekend but probably not enough to impact outdoor events.
