Jordan busted for wrong shorts on Florida golf course

MIAMI — Charlotte Bobcats owner Michael Jordan said he was asked to change out of cargo shorts while playing a round of golf recently at a country club in Miami.

Jordan texted ESPN Chicago saying, "I've been there many times and no one told me a thing.  Then all of the sudden they come to me on the 11th hole and say I can't wear cargo shorts. Wow! The round is almost over and you want me to buy shorts now? Yeah, right!!"

Jordan finished the round but a report in the New York Post said that a source said he won't be invited back.

Jordan doesn't seem to be too concerned. His reply: "No problem!!"

ESPN Chicago reported that a representative from the club said the president was on vacation and declined to comment.

Jordan's Bobcats team has been the NBA's most surprising team so far this season. Charlotte (7-7) is 5-3 at home this season.  The team has already matched its 7-win total from last season, which set a record for worst winning percentage in league history.
