HICKORY, N.C.,None — The Catawba Science Center (CSC) in Hickory is getting a little psychedelic this year as a part of its new year of Science After Dark programs for adults.
CSC will feature themed laser shows in the months of July, October, January and April with more nights to experience surround sound and laser lights on the dome in Hillholland Planetarium.
Laser Floyd will kick off Friday, July 8 with two shows: Dark Side of the Moon at 7 p.m. and The Wall at 8:30 p.m. with additional shows scheduled for July 15, 22 and 29.
Science After Dark is a series of social, educational and engaging programs geared towards adults, and is sponsored by Focus Newspaper, 95.7 The Ride and The Best of Beers, LLC.
Tickets are just $5 per show for CSC members and $8 for nonmembers.
