UNION COUNTY, N.C. — One person died, and another was taken to the hospital from a head-on crash in Union County Tuesday night.
Officials said it happened just before 11 p.m. on Indian Trail Fairview Road, near the intersection with the Monroe Bypass.
Channel 9 is asking the North Carolina Highway Patrol for more information about the cause of the crash and the people involved.
