1 seriously hurt in early morning crash on west Charlotte interstate

CHARLOTTE — One person is seriously hurt from a crash in west Charlotte.

It happened around 2 a.m. on the inner loop of Interstate 485 near the Moores Chapel Road Exit.

Video from a North Carolina Department of Transportation camera shows a damaged car and a tractor-trailer on the shoulder.

MEDIC said one person has serious injuries.

Channel 9 is asking troopers what led up to the crash.
