CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A man suffered serious injuries in a shooting at a south Charlotte shopping center, paramedics say.
Emergency responders were called to the 7700 block of Sharon Lakes Road near South Boulevard Tuesday afternoon.
Police said two people who know each other got into a fight. One of them, a man who was wearing an ankle monitor, was shot in the leg. After he was shot, he dislocated his other leg when he jumped off a curb.
The victim was transported to Carolinas Medical Center - Main.
