2 arrested in connection to shooting death of teen girl, police say

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police have made a second arrest in the shooting death of a teenage girl in east Charlotte.

Officers charged 19-year-old Harold Lindsey with murder; they had arrested 19-year-old Deon McDonald earlier.

Investigators said the two shot and killed 18-year-old Azjee Pierce at the Rosecroft Apartments Thursday night.

Police said it happened during a drug deal.

WSOC
