UNION COUNTY, N.C. — Two men are facing charges with trafficking drugs in Union County after being caught Friday, authorities said.
Usiel Ramirez-Amaya, 24, is facing cocaine trafficking charges and Calixto Gonzalez Maldonado, 27, is facing heroin trafficking charges.

Officers said after executing a search warrant at a home Friday in Monroe, they seized 4 kilograms of cocaine and more than $9,000 from Ramirez-Amaya.
The same day, officials said after a short foot pursuit, they seized 6 ounces of heroin and more than $1,200 from Maldonado.
No other details have been released.
