3 face charges after shooting at Durham shopping area

DURHAM, N.C. — Three people are facing murder charges after a shooting at a popular shopping area in Durham and a high-speed chase.

Police said a man was shot Saturday across from the streets at Southpoint Mall.

Officers said they chased a car matching the description of the suspect's car.

Officers said the car crashed and that they caught all three people who were in the car and tried to run on foot.

Police said it looked like the victim had been shot in the car.
