CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Three people were injured in an east Charlotte shooting Saturday afternoon.
Police said a juvernile was seriously wounded and two adults suffered non-life-threatening injuries in the shooting at Heritage Park Apartments on Snow Lane.
Officials said the street was littered with shell casings.
Neighbors said bullets were shot in other apartments.
“There are too many guns on the street,” neighbor Helen Sturdivant said. “They're on the wrong hands and they're used for the wrong purpose.”
Police said they haven't made any arrests.
