CHARLOTTE, N.C. — State investigators have cleared a west Charlotte day care after a mother reported her three-year-old daughter was assaulted at the facility.
The reported incident happened at Cyrus Childhood Academy along West Boulevard.

The mother told Channel 9 it was a misunderstanding and that her child may have been scratched by another child at the day care.
She said her daughter is back at the center and doing well.
A state inspector visited the center Thursday morning and found no violations.
