ROWAN COUNTY, N.C. — Billy Ross Whitley, 77, was arrested Friday morning in Mooresville and was charged with taking indecent liberties with a child, the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office said.

Whitley faces three felony counts of taking indecent liberties with a minor.
The alleged victim is under the age of 10, according to deputies.
Whitley’s bond was set at $50,000.
