A look at Meck County's 10 most-expensive home sales in August

MECKLENBURG COUNTY, N.C. — Mecklenburg County’s priciest home sale in August topped $2.7 million.

That home, located in Charlotte’s affluent Eastover neighborhood, sold in early August and carried a price tag of $2.725 million — about 3.5% less than its previous sale price.

The 5,013-square-foot home sits on a half-acre lot and includes five bedrooms and five-and-half bathrooms. The two-story stucco home also has features like an outdoor courtyard pool, attached two-car garage and three fireplaces found throughout.

The county’s nine other most-expensive residential sales from August ranged in price from $1.748 million to $2.5 million and were scattered across several neighborhoods in Charlotte, Cornelius and Matthews.
