GREENSBORO, N.C. — The Greensboro Police Department has canceled an Amber Alert for a missing 1-year-old boy who was allegedly abducted by two men Saturday morning.
According to police, Josea Andre Petty is about 1 foot tall and weighs about 35 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a green sweater, gray sweat pants, and white socks.
According to the Greensboro Police Department, he was last seen at 12:16 a.m. Saturday at the Valero Gas station at 2715 South Elm-Eugene Street, Greensboro. Petty was in the rear seat of a dark gray 2018 Kia Sorento with North Carolina license plate 5D16DV, which has been stolen.
Allegedly, he was abducted by two unknown men, police say. Authorities describe them as each about 25 and 35 years old. The 25-year-old was wearing a black jacket and gray pants. The 35-year-old was wearing a black knit cap, black jacket, and black pants with white stripes.
Police have not said if anyone was arrested in connection to the incident.
