SHELBY, N.C. — Dozens of animals are up for adoption because officers said they were being hoarded in Shelby.
The owner isn't facing charges because he gave the rabbits and dogs to animal control officers.
Someone contacted the Humane Society last week about the animals on Wyke Road.
The Shelby Star report two of the dogs had hurt legs and they weren't spayed or neutered.
The other animals are doing OK, officials said.
