CHARLOTTE — Charlotte-Mecklenburg police are searching for a man accused of holding up a Showmars restaurant in west Charlotte.

The suspect went into the restaurant on Little Rock Road at about 9:20 p.m. on March 25, showed a gun, took property from the business and left on foot, police said.
The suspect is described as a Black man who was wearing a black hoodie, black pants and dark shoes.
CMPD’s Armed Robbery Unit is asking for the public’s health to locate the suspect. Anyone with information is asked to call 9-1-1 or Crime Stoppers, 704-334-1600.
